Some cafés opt to make their chai in-house by brewing tea, and grinding spices steeping them for hours. This is great, however most cafes don't have the luxury of time or expertise to do so.
Some establishments turn to a chai syrup or a powdered chai, which often includes artificial flavoring, emulsifiers, and other nasties. They may smell like chai, but they won't offer the same depth and complexity as a real brewed chai. If you wouldn't serve instant coffee at your café, why would you serve powdered chai?
You shouldn't have to choose between serving great products and running an efficient operation.

How does it compare to making chai from scratch?
We use the same kettle-brewed process
Whole spices, organic teas leaves, six hours over low heat. The only difference is we do the labor in our facility instead of yours. The recipe didn't change; the location did.
What's the shelf life after opening?
Our chai lasts 4 weeks after opening
4 weeks refrigerated after opening. Each carton is roughly 30–40 servings, so most cafés finish a bottle inside a week of pouring.
How much training do baristas need?
60 Seconds
Sixty seconds. The full recipe is: "1 part chai, 3 parts milk, steam to 140°F." Any barista who can pull a latte can serve our chai on their first shift.
Is your chai organic?
Yes, all of our chai products are certified organic by FVOPA
Each chai blend is kettle-brewed with whole spices like cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, and ginger, organic teas, natural sweeteners, and purified British Columbia mountain water.
We practice Slow Food principles. We believe in taking time to brew the chai, so you can take your time enjoying it. Every brew of chai is handcrafted in small batches by our Brewmasters in a state-of-the-art microbrewing facility.
